Earlier reports that claimed Farrah Fawcett was receiving stem cell treatments in Germany were debunked on Farrah’s Story, a documentary that aired Friday night (5/15/09) on NBC.
The documentary stated that Fawcett went to Germany to receive “additional treatments” to remove tumors found in her liver. She went to Germany for medical treatment after UCLA doctors told her that she would need a colonoscopy and they would be unable to remove the tumors from her liver.
Farrah’s Story provided viewers with home footage of her personal battle with anal cancer for the last two years and how she is handling the dire situation. The documentary cleared up many false allegations made by the media since her prognosis and showed Farrah’s strength in dealing with the situation, inspiring many viewers, including myself.
Fawcett ended the segment by explaining she does not have all of the answers for what the future may hold, but had many questions, including “How are you?”
